My gf and I really enjoyed staying in SeaLaVie Inn. Fazeel and co were so nice and cute it was almost impossible not to talk to them. Ukuhlas is kind of a "village" and therefore has real Maldivian people and culture. This place is not for people who are looking for a resort experience. It is for people who like to travel embrace and experience a new kind of tranquility. SeaLaVie has cute and super clean rooms. The restaurant is Thai and also pretty delicious. I wouldn't go as far as saying that its traditional thai food because a lot of key ingredients were missing. That is to be expected when you come here.
Good wifi in the rooms. beach is supreme white and water is crystal clear for snorkeling around the island.
Great stay and if you are om a budget then this is the best value for money you are going to get.response / report this review -

We spend there 4 nights. It was perfect. Fazeel was very nice and helped us with everything. He organized the transfer from Male to Ukulhas and also back. He made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were beautiful and we slept very well. We had full board and it was very delicious. The Thai Lady´s were sooo friendly, i have never seen this. Very welcoming and polite. These two combinations made it to an unforgettable holiday.

We spent 15 nights at the SeaLaVie Inn and it was the perfect holiday. Fazeel helped us even before we arrived, organized trips for us and made sure that we had the best holiday possible. Also amazing was the hospitality of him, his family and the lovely ladies. Not to mention the great food. We definitely want to come back.

Amazing. I visited three (local) islands at the end of my "round the world" trip and SeaLaVie was the best hotel I stayed at. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. There is seating outside of every room so when it rained I just lounged out and read a book, it was perfect. They have snorkeling gear and the best reef on the island is 100 meters away from the hotel. The food was delicious, and I am still craving their coffee. But what really separates this hotel from all the others is their customer service. Fazeel helped arrange all transportation and provided suggestions on where to stay on other islands. He always had a smile and was there whenever he was needed, which was crazy because he has and adorable baby that I was lucky enough to meet! The rest of the staff did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable, including opening their kitchen up on their closed day because I didn't like the food at the other restaurant on the island. They have some chairs and hammocks on their private beach, which I was alone at 100% of the time, and the main tourist beach is less than two minute walk away. I just lounged on one of the hammocks and read my book most of the time, and I couldn't have asked for a more scenic and peaceful spot. The morning I left the staff got up to see me go (I traveled alone and one of the pictures was the early morning with the staff). My tearful goodbye was the perfect end to my crazy vacation. -On a side note, Ukulhas has won awards for their cleanliness. The other local islands I visited were disturbingly dirty. This is the best hotel on the best local island in the Maldives.

Amazing experience. The true definition of 5 star service by the Thai girl that was working the restaurant. She made us feel welcome and I must say the experience was like no other. I will be back one day. Thank you all. Please give her a bonus she deserves it. I will do it by mail if I know it will reach her.

We chosed SeaLaVie Inn as our first place to stay during the holiday on Maldives.
We cannot say enough positive words about it! Everything was perfect. Starting with the communication with the GM (Fazeel) a long time before arriving. He was very prompt and helpful to organize all the necessities for us(speedboat, additional transfers, etc.).
We were picked up upon arrival by Musco who was very helpful and even showed us the whole island after.
Greeted by Fazeel at the guesthouse and got a delicious welcome drink kurumba(young coconut drink). Everything is really nicely built and decorated. The guesthouse is brand new with nice courtyards, rooms are very functional and cosy with AC, fan, extremely comfortable bed, rainshower etc.!
It is located in a silent part of the island just few steps away from the beach with dedicated sun-bed and sun-umbrellas! We had a totally private beach almost during the whole stay!
The catering is provided in the nearby cafe and serves various delicious dishes( see my review for SeaLaVie Cafe).
All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling and making sure everything is up to your needs and expectations.
We did snorkeling almost every day in front of the mentioned beach and it was great.
The guys organized a manta seeking trip, we have visited a sandbank a did a snorkeling safari on a reef cca 20 minutes ride from the Ukulhas island. Musco went with us and made beautiful pictures for us as well.
Even we had 3 rainy days during our stay we can not say a bad word on anything!
We could not make a better choice when choosing accommodation.
It is truly THE BEST PLACE TO STAY when on Ukulhas island!!!
All these people made the whole stay unforgetable for us!
We will remember this stay for our lifetime and hopefully be back once again!

Stayed on full board. Totally worth it. Few metres away from beach and reef. Has their own restaurant. Well planned rooms. Fazeel is a great host. Enjoyed👍👍👍

Very nice and tasty food, fast service, very nice cold drinks as well. We liked the icetea and icechocolate! Very good price, terrace on the second floor, ran by lovely and genuin thai staff (good english) We ate at this place twice a day for 10 days. We loved the chicken-noodle dishes! We miss you!

Great place with great people. Good value you get for your money. The food is excellent (Malidiven & Thai). Great service as well. Hotelbeach is clean. I would recommend : " The staff is happy and therefore they like the work, which lead to excellent results. "
