Raffles Maldives was truly outstanding. It took us several days to reconnect with reality after spending 6 days in this paradise bubble out of time. From the setting of the place, the architecture and design of bungalows and bars/restaurants to the food and kindness of the staff, everything was beyond expectations. Special thank to Aleaf our personnal butler who made this flawless. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to come back ❤️

After going through a short list of resorts in Maldives, Raffles was the selected one. Indeed it was the right choice.
There was a warm welcome at the arrival jetty by the hotel staff, followed by a short tour of the island and its beautiful facilities.
The beach villa was fantastic, with its outdoor shower, a private cabana and pool, leading to the white sandy beaches of the island.
From there, you can snorkel and see a wide range of marine life, including turtles and sharks (small ones of course).
The waters are crystal clear, and at different times of the day, there will be different shades of blue.
We also stayed at the water villa, which was equally beautiful. This was situated only a minute of speed boat away. The waters are a bit rougher to snorkel there though. Nevertheless, you get a different view of the waters, equally mind blowing.
The food in the restaurants were high quality in variety, taste and ingredients. The cold coconuts, stamped with their very own Raffles logo, was a must at least once a day.
Last but not least, the service provided by the entire team was outstanding. Everyone was polite, friendly and professional.
We felt the positivity in their service and the attitude to go above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were very attentive to our personal wishes, ensuring all of our needs and requests were met.
I believe the word No is not in their vocabulary. Anything is possible.
The chef would cook something for us that was not on the menu.
If my phone ran out of battery, they would bring a power bank to have it charged in the restaurant. It is these small personal gestures that speak volumes about their service.
The only thing that can be improved on would be reducing the long hours of waiting at the domestic terminal, awaiting transfer to the island. Having said that, upon arrival on the island, all that negativity melts away.
A special shout out goes to Jeffry Tan, Nasru, Imran, Shane, Adi (Russian speaking waiter), Thilan(who always appear at the prefect time) and the rest of the team for making our once in a lifetime trip to Maldives definitely not the last one!

We were hosed by the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo for 4 nights. This place transports you to heaven. The team made us feel right at home and pampered us all the way.
We had an amazing cooking class with Amritesh Kumar who serverd an delicious Maldivian curry, and an amazing diving experience with Julia from the marine conservation center. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and can't wait to be back!

We spent 7 days at Raffles Maldives and it was absolutely wonderful. The Raffles team provided outstanding service from our personal butler, restaurant staff, sommelier, dive masters, masseuse and onsite marine biologist, no needs or wishes were left unmet. The food was excellent, and our overwater villa (sunset side) offered us privacy and all of the comforts we could imagine. The trip from the main island to the overwater villas was about 2 minutes by boat. The reefs, both the main island and the villa, were excellent sites for snorkeling, which we did at least once each day. Though a long trip from the central US (about 40 hours door-to-door), it was worth every minute. With 38 villas in all, Raffles offered amazing luxury, solitude, and service. If you prefer a quiet place to holiday, this is an outstanding choice.
