  The jetty is being named after Sultan Hassan Izzudheen (Dhonbandaara) for his efforts to maintain Maldivian Independence.
  He freed Maldives from the clutches of the Malabars who were ruling the country at the time. He freed Maldives after it was under foreign rule for 4 months. He also served as the ruler of the country for seven years.

  Sandwiched between jetty number 1 and 2.
