Amazing Absolutely flawless. Ihu was our butler for the duration of our stay and couldn't fault him or the team. Ratio of c.3:1 staff to visitors should give you an idea of the service and attention to detail. Will be back for sure!! 😍

This is a boutique luxury resort in the UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay. Its own coral reef is a protected area and noted as an outstanding snorkelling and diving site. The beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, is fringed by white soft deep sandy beaches and circled by a coral reef.

Spacious air-conditioned villas has its own private freshwater pool on the sundeck and opens up 180 degrees to allow the natural beauty of the island into the villa. All villas have ocean views. Custom-made furnishings and thoughtful designs are Maldivian inspired. An island host is on hand to ensure every detail of the stay is perfect, from arranging spa appointments and excursions. Private wine fridge in the villa can be stocked with your personal favourites.

Well designed three restaurants and two bars. Gourmet plan is a dine-around meal plan offering daily breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as international and premium brands of spirits, beers, wines and cocktails from our selection.

24-hour island host, personalized welcome gift, champagne bottle and use of private airport lounge on arrival and departure.

The over-water spa has four treatment suites and complimentary yoga and meditation classes take place in the open air over-water pavillion. Sports activities include sailing, catamarans, kayaks, a 24-hour fitness centre and yacht trips. The property also provides dolphin cruises, whale shark spotting, manta ray watching, conservation activities with the resident marine biologist, fishing, diving, snorkelling, and an open-air infinity pool.

Milaidhoo is reached by a scenic 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport.

We are staying at Milaidhoo for 6 nights. We have spent here 4 nights already and we are in love with the island. This small luxury hotel is perfect for a quiet holiday away from the crowd. If you prefer an active holiday you can find a wide variety of activities here, such as snorkelling trips to see fish and turtles, we saw 2 green turtles while on a trip and some from our water villa as well. There are marine life presentations that are held by their local marine biologist, of course they also have diving courses and trips (PADI). I dived once to 12 meters and saw a nurse shark, an octopus, an eel, a stone-fish, a lion-fish, Nemo fish, a lobster and many more. The underwater world is beautiful and magnitising here.

The people on the island are very friendly, each villa has a host who can answer your questions and handle any requests. There is no reception in traditional way, and all can be done through the host. It is convenient to reach the host as you will be given a cellphone for this.

The food at the restaurant is of great variety and can cater to all needs. When the chefs learned that I am a vegan, they showed suitable options for me when there was a buffet and cooked vegan meals a la cart, and even special vegan meals that they did not have on the menu. I celebrated my birthday at the hotel and was treated with a special delicious vegan cake :).

Overall, the hotel has left a positive impression and created a relaxed and peacefull atmosphere, that was exactly what we wanted. There is almost no interraction with other guests and no noise that you can find at other hotels. There is a big TV screen at the room that you can connect to your laptop or your phone. We used it to watch The Blue Planet 2 BBC to submerge ourselves in the oceanic world and also to listen to lounge relaxing music. Make sure it is not too loud, we had to listen to loud rap and hip hop until we politely asked the host to speak to the neighbours. Then the noise was gone.

I would reccommend this hotel and would like to come back for more wonderful moments like this.

This is definitely the coolest resort I have ever been to! We slept in the Ocean Villa. It was so quiet and there were civilized people. The hygiene was excellent and the staff was very nice! The breakfast was also delicious. We slept 14 nights in the Ocean Residence and we made several trips with the boat. We went scuba diving and surfing.

It was an amazing experience. Everything in the resort is wonderful; food, location, room service. The staff was so kind and helpful; Hussy, Wisam, Shuhan and all of the staff member there made it like home.

If you are looking for a place with utmost privacy and superb service, this place is for you. the rooms are super fancy and nice and even better than the pics on their website.. you wont even want to leave your room.. one thing we love about this resort is the personal touch of the staffs.. you can customize your food (one dinner we had the different kinds of sri lankan specialties served by the chef himself) and they call you by your first name. they dont have a frontdesk or room service number because you get your OWN butler 24/7 to attend to all your needs.. we did the lunch at sandbank and its something we will never forget for the rest of our lives.. and ohh one more thing, they are GAY friendly. its a little pricy but you get what you paid for. i also love the concept of no kids allowed(below 9y/o) over all its a very relaxing and memorable stay, the MILAIDHOO way

Tranquillity and indulgence is guaranteed in Milaidhoo. The rooms are huge and the Milaidhoo family (staff) will treat you as one of their members during the stay. The marine life is plenty and the house reef is healthy and colourful. The service is second to none. I would definitely recommend Milaidhoo for any couple considering visiting the Maldives.
