Whatever room you choose the stay is gonna be comfortable. Go for villas in case you want to be in sea all day. Villa experience is very enriching too. Food is absolutely amazing, but you'll be surprised not to find many sea food options. Food is more planned keeping westerners on mind, cold cuts, lamb chops, salads, eggs etc. Trust me food is very good. A vegetarian would have limited options though.

Gorgeous resort with beautiful beaches and crystar blue water. Really well planed bungalows and sand path between restaurants and other attractions. Great food and food and drink selection. Only issue is at the bars with service it seems like doing you a favor serving you. Otherwise all great.

The server we had for the time of our stay was so pleasant. He was very considerate. We were there before the kid and if I had the chance again, I would definitely go back.
We stayed in a room that was above the water, absolute paradise.
Once in a lifetime. Well worth the 1.5hr boat ride from the airport.

Meeru was a luxurious resort. The whole island is the resort. The staff provide some of the best customer I have seen in my whole life. There is so much to do - so many events, sports, expeditions, restaurants and more! Staff members are always cleaning around the island which is why it is so clean and beautiful. The water is crystal clear. I would recommend the All Inclusive Plus Package to make your stay easy and amazing. Thanks to everyone at Meeru for the amazing experience!

Our experience at Meeru has been nothing short of spectacular. The island is stunning, with clear water and impressive villas.

We initially only wanted to stay in jacuzzi water villa for a night, but upon seeing the place, we decided to extend one more night. At first we were told that jacuzzi water villa is not available anymore on second night, so we went on to book another room type. The next day, we were told that we were given free upgrade to jacuzzi water villa! Kudos to the management there for being so flexible and generous.

We received a free fruit platter with a card congratulating us on our marriage (they probably found out that we were on our honeymoon somehow).

The staff here are so courteous and warm. Really enjoyed the chit chats with our designated waiter at the restaurant.

Oh, and the buffets were amazing. Our package included all 3 meals and we couldn't get enough of them!

Simply put, it was a wonderful experience that concluded our Maldives trip on a high note.

Wonderful resort. Maybe not as private as others but clearly very valuable. Great food in several restaurants and bars. 2 pools and lots of activities to do, as water sports as windsurf, kayak, diving or land sports as beach volleyball, golf. The cleanest resort I have been to, as the rooms as the public bathrooms in bars. Amazing views and scenic landmarks. Staff are such polite people.

A wonderful island paradise that offers you great value for your money.
Avail of their All Inclusive Plus package and you won't have to worry about a thing. We visited the resort last July 2017 and stayed at the Jacuzzi Beach Villa on the North end of the island. We got complimentary welcome massages, sunset cruise and dolphin watching, free use of kayak and wind surfing equipment. Food is excellent, I personally loved their dessert bar. The resort has this modern tropical vibe. The place is serene, calming. Even though the place is full, you wont see the place being crowded or noisy.

An Amazing resort to relax and enjoy your holidays in the beach. It's one of the bigger islands of Maldives, well organized with super friendly staff, and with plenty of things to do: not limited to water sports, diving and snorkeling but also tennis courts, golf, football pitch, an excellent spa and more. All inclusive is the way to go (don't get it mixed with the Full Board) if you like your drinks.

Delightful 3N&4D stay!It's paradise here on earth with the sun, sand and sea. Swimming has never been more accessible with pools and the beaches everwhere. Also, water sports (diving and snorkeling) and other activities (sunset yoga, sunset cruise with the dolphins and shark feeding) is a great way to spend your time on this beautiful island. The staff were nice and the food was a good mix of local and international cuisine; talk about 'variety is the spice of life' in their dishes, like literally. Finally, the Meeru Museum (for history geeks like me) which showcases the Maldivian life, its history and the like provided a good break from all the outdoor activities. I hope to visit this place again soon. Thank you, Meeru for the great memories!

Amazing honeymoon destination. Beautiful well maintained white sand beaches. Crystal Blue Water with plenty of sea life to enjoy whilst learning diving or snorkeling. Bars and restaurants are well provisioned (make sure you get all inclusive plus!) with polite and efficient staff. The South side Farivalhu restaurant is very busy especially when new arrivals come but you have ate allocated a permanent table which makes this less onerous. Huge variety every day with lots of fish, meat and speciality cuisine with daily curry corner, vegetarian options and lots and lots of desert (their mousse is to die for!). The A la Carter restaurants are the Asian Wok (sushi and Teppanyaki) and Hot Rock (serving "hot rock" sizzling platters) both of which are excellent. Good variety of day and evening activities. Sporting wise caters to most tastes with tennis, football (including weekly staff v guests match), golf, bicycle hire (including tandem bikes) as well as a host of water based activities from jet ski, kayak windsurf or traditional paddle surf boards. Euro diver centre offers certification and has daily (free) trips to the house reef for snorkeling. Duniye Spa over water or on land is a must to unwind and pamper yourself. If you're a couple make sure you ask for the North end of the island to get a bit more privacy away from families and Malaan restaurant is a better choice being quieter and more relaxed. The hotel offers free use of golf cart buggies to go between various points of the island which came in useful at hotter times or when we just needed a break from the walking (with the amazing views on offer this was rare!)
THE GOOD: amazing beach, lots of activities, delicious and amazing variety of food and drink, free use of buggies to go between bars etc if you just want to chill
THE MEH: south end of island not great for couples as you're often adjoining a family room and the restaurant in South hectic as a result. You need to ASK for this as even though we stated we were on honeymoon we still got landed next to a young family.

The location is beautiful, but the hospitality was awful, especially when paying $700 per night. My air conditioning was broken for 3 days, the sheets were not cleaned upon arrival, and it took 2 days to remove a dead lizard from the water bucket outside of our over the water hut. I asked for a room change and a reduced fee for the broken air conditioning unit. The room was changed on day 4 and the hotel would not provide a reduced rate, just a half bottle of champagne. Luckily, the last night of our week in the Maldives was not pre-booked, so we headed to Kurumba which is 10 min away from the airport. The service on Kurumba was excellent, the air conditioning exceptional, and it offered the clean accommodations as expected when paying 700 a night.

We stayed in a watervilla in 2011. Loved it! Really value for money. The food was decent. I'm a vegetarian and found some decent choices.

Possibly the best holiday we have ever had. All inclusive worked well - there were some "rules" ( do check for latest ) , but were fine. Amazingly relaxingwould go there again right now!!

Right from the start, we had a nice welcome to the resort with a welcome drink. The overall stay was comfortable and the staff treated us very nicely throughout the stay. They were courteous and helpful throughout and kept asking every other day if all was to our satisfaction. On the 3rd day, I got a small bruise on my foot and the next day the reception called to inquire if everything was ok, and gives you a nice homely feeling.
We chose a Full Board Beach Villa, which was amazing! It was very spacious and had all the right facilities including an outdoor shower to clean your sandy feet before you enter the villa! These villas are equipped with open air showers, which an experience on its own :D
There are too many mosquitoes all over the place though and I strongly recommend having a mosquito repellent with you to use at all times.
Coming to the food, it was great every single day, with a good variety of cuisines and desserts. You should note that Full Board package does not include any drinks except at breakfast time.
Multiple activities are available at the resort including snorkling, kayaking, jet ski, catamaran sailing, scuba diving and more!
