You can find a good variety of fish here Some days price could be a bit high Also it is located near two local markets where you can find a lot of vegetables, fruits and many other local as well as imported food items

Every hard to buy stuff because less people speak English. Pronunciation problem, Friday have less fish. I was looking for sardine fish but no one know about that. Its really hard to survived here in Maldives. If you are coming for job or business bring food to cook easily other wise its very expensive here. Maybe today Friday that's why fish over their on regular days rates or variety will be there. Or you need to have local friends or girls to help you. Otherwise hell for you very hard to survived

This is a popular tourist spot. The Fish Market is a bustiling center where local fishermen sell their daily catches. Buy a fish for yourself or take a stroll along the jetty to find a long line of local fishing vessels. Opposite the fish market is the local market where you would find fruits, vegetables and other products brought in from the islands.

Fresh fish arrives early in the morning. Thats around 07:00 to 08:00 in the morning. The stock doesnt last long. Then another batch of new fish normally arrives at 03:00 to 04:00 in the afternoon and the stock will last until 07:00. Most sellers dont speak english that well and may be not very friendly. A good reef fish will cost around 5 usd.
