There is ferry service after every 10 minutes. You can buy the ticket in the counter and then the person standing in front of the waiting area will collect it and allow you to wait in the waiting lot. Waiting area is spacious, well maintained. There is washroom inside. Near the ferry terminal there are few small shops and few hammocks are hanging where you can rest and enjoy the cool breeze. The swimming area is walking distance from the ferry terminal.

Villingili is not hot like Male.
The breeze here is cooling.
There are many hammock seats by the seaside for you to rest or sleep.
The ferry terminal is relatively small.
Unlike Hulhumale ferry, this ferry does not transport motorcycles.
A trip to Male is 3.25 Rufiya.
There is a restaurant just outside the terminal.

Love the local life and we just blend in like a local when we travel to and from our layover hotel for three night visit in Male.

Overall it is a good service. But sometimes you can expect delay in ferry departures. So I advice if you are going for an important meeting or event to be in terminal early to avoid disappointments.
