Fulidhoo Dive & Water Sports is a Padi 5 star dive center.
It’s a professional center with super friendly staff.
I had 9 amazing dives. All very professional, very nice instructors with lots of experience.
Also they really care about environment.

Searched for diving on Maldives - this was one suggestion. We asked before arriving for some information which we got very soon (prices, paymentetc.) Ali the dive instructor and head of the dive center was giving us an overview when arriving and all answers to your questions. Also his wonderful wife was coordinating with our schedule and offering us a nice opportunity fitting our needs.
We had a wonderful diving day from the boat on three different spots on one day.
Sometimes you need luck - with sharkes we have not been so lucky that day (just some) but with a school of eagel Ray's we we're lucky!! Ali knows good spots and we're to go to see and experience a wonderful underwater world. I had a great experience with them looking forward to maybe see you guys again!response / report this review -

Where to start.I came across Fulidhoo Dive on the internet as I was searching on google for a budget way to dive the Maldives without having to stay in a overly expensive resort. Fulidhoo Dive was one of the first to come up and after reading some blogs and webpages about them and checking out their well set-up and good looking website I decided to contact them for some more information.
All contact with Adele went smooth and the responses where fast and comprehensive. I wanted to know all the possibilities and prices of the diving and equipment, places to stay and how to get to Fulidhoo. All was answered in great detail which made my hotel booking and trip getting to fulidhoo a whole lot easier.
The dive shop is tiny and so is the island. The shop is located right next to the pier. Eventhough the shop is small, it, its equipment and the dive boat are all brand new I even got a BCD that was never used before. Checking into the dive shop and getting sized up all went smooth and Ali straight away came across as easy going but very professional.
Then on to the actual diving. Groups are mostly split up between beginners and more advanced divers which always makes the experience more enjoyable and relaxing for me having dived quite a bit. My first dive was a nightdive the same day I arrived at Fulidhoo at Alimatha. THAT DIVE WAS INSANE! I had never seen so many (nurse)sharks on one dive let alone one place joined by massive stingrays from all sides. It was a very thrilling and special moment just sitting there on the bottom being encircled by all those shark and stingrays and a moment that I will not forget anytime soon. In the upcoming week I did plenty more dives seeing turtles, grey reef sharks, white/black tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, manta rays, eagle rays and thousand of other fishes and corals and even having our boat chased by dolphins two times. Having dived in almost every diveable country in South East Asia diving here definitely ranks as my top 3 diving countries esspecially if you like large pelagic underwater life and one of the best dive shops I have dived with. Having booked a 10 dive package but enjoying it so much I ended up doing like 13-14 dives in total. All the while Alie and Adele where super helpfull and helped me in everything I wanted to do or see. I wanted to see Hamerheads and they, with other guests joining, arranged a special speedboat Hammerhead safari not once but twice in the hopes of seeing Hammerheads. I wanted to go to Alimatha another time and I did. And on my last day I just wanted to do some freediving and it was also no problem.
To me Fulidhoo Dive & Water Sports is a true example of how diving and a diving shop should be. I will do everything I can to, hopefully in the near future, come and dive with you again!response / report this review -

If you are at the island, ask for Ali. He is very experienced dive instructor, who will make sure you are always safe. He always checking if everything is ok and he is able to look behind the corner. He is very polite and smart. Dive shop is small, but you find all you need there. You can feel very nice atmosphere. We did just a few dives there, but Alimatha Madness - night dive is my top recommendation. I just love it. The boat has a sun deck, so you can lie down on the way back and looking at stars, which was quite ultimate experience too :-) Ali and his wife are very nice people to have a great time with.

We just come back from wonderfull firts snorchling (sharkpoint) experience with Ali and Afzal camera pictures and videos for us. You can see the pictures done by Afzal under the text. They are so cool and good. All that was amazing and fully professional. He was able learn us all the steps needed in short time. He was very good at spoting different fish and learn us their names. My girlfriend and I had three great dives and two fun snorkeling trips with Ali around Fulidhoo. We visited reefs within the atoll, the outer reef and a shark spot at the neighboring island (awesome). Lucky to have had such an experienced and professional instructor and what a nice guy too. His rather recently opened dive center really is an essential upgrade for this beautiful little island. Prices are reasonable and there's a good variety of diving spots for beginners and intermediates (like us) and advanced divers. Five stars all the way.

Had a really nice experience diving with Ali. It was my first time to scuba dive. He was very patient, calm and explained everything fine. After trying out in confined water we went to a nice reef on the inside of the atoll at 12 m depth. I felt secure all the time and Ali was very observant all the time. I can really recommend this dive center.
Folidhoo is a VERY nice, relaxed and beautiful island, where you live among the locals - all very friendly. There is a nice and isolated bikini beach at the east end of the island.
Visit Folidhoo and have an amazing experience!!!response / report this review
