So happy to have found this café! I needed to spend some time on my laptop, and Civil Coffee Society was the perfect place to do that. There are plenty of electrical outlets available, as well as WiFi (although I would recommend that the restaurant make efforts to strengthen the signal, as I found it to be a bit weak). Staff were polite and helpful. The food was nice, as was the coffee. There aren't a lot of options to choose from here: they have focused on drinks and baked goods, and there is no menu to hold, you just order what you see while standing at the front counter. This isn't a bad thing! I like that the café's offerings are focused: better to do a few things really well than to be a jack of all trades but a master of none. The restaurant's décor and ambiance are minimalistic and tasteful; exactly what you need when you want to get some work done or have a meaningful conversation with a friend. My only complaint that I have is the music: at times I felt that it became too noticeable due to genre/song choice. Lastly, their prompt response to my review shows that these people care. They make an effort, they work hard, and they deserve your attention, so go check them out! If your experience is anything like mine, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic cafe with consistently good coffee, nice food selection and great atmosphere. The staff are well trained and friendly and the service is excellent. I come back here again and again. Free WiFi and power for charging.

It's a nice cafe and pretty clean. However it has one of the worst hot chocolates I have tasted in Maldives. Hot chocolate recipes need to be followed to international hotel and restaurant standards. Anything more should be given a different name so that we understand that this is a different blend of hot chocolate. Other than that the Staff are very nice.
