The renovated central hotel is chick. We loved the rooms and enjoyed the service offered. Good/clean/economical be how I would describe the place.

The WiFi connection is a bit poor in the rooms. Other than that the buffets are great and the rooms have all the necessary facilities (as far as I'm concerned). All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in the middle of the island so it's great for exploring the capital.

Neat n clean. Center of Male city. All restaurants and beaches are on walking distance.
Tips: take your own drinks tea coffee and dry fruits to save more money!

Good for a sleepover but not for a long stay. Reasons being;

1. Lack of restaurants (only 1 if I'm not mistaken)
2. Lack of food variety (breakfast is the almost the same everyday)
3. Lack of in room amenities such as power outlets, hair dryers,
4. The receptionist is a bit too rude almost making us feel unwelcome there. Come on guys these are the basics atleast put a person there who will smile at the guests not frown at them.

Promised to pick us up at the jetty, and we called and confirmed from the airport too, but they never came.

Hotel itself and the service was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant needs more work. Menu promised a grilled half chicken, but when it arrived it was just one breast. Not filling at all.

On the plus side, they did give us shuttle service when departing.

This hotel is the essential business, transient or base to explore Male’.

Centrally located right by the main street, rooms are spacious, I really enjoyed the food, I went on BBQ night to the buffet, roof top restaurant.

Offer packages for MICE.

good hotel staffs needs to be trained professionally, food quality is average, rooms are clean and toiletries are good to use. a good hotel in male.
tip to stay: avoid getting rooms in 8th floor since they have the restaurant on the 9th floor, always distrubance especially on srilankan food festival dinner weekly twice they put kothu roti on your head, omg horrible.
location of the property is good. wifi is very good, staffs are helpful.

Typically a easy, clean and friendly hotel for business or just merely for transit. Surprisingly good food considering it as easy lodging. Delicious breakfast and tried their buffet dinner, no complain at all. Sitting right in the middle of the male island, 5 min ride fr all jetty.

Representative that were suppose to come pick us up didn't show up and did not pick up his phone until a phone call was made to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff weren't very friendly. My mum and I wasn't greeted by any of the staff members at all. What disappoint us the most is that we were given a room that hasn't been tidy up at all. There were dirt stains on the floor, towel being thrown on the unmade bed, empty water bottles on the table.. Also, the receptionist wasn't exactly very attentive either.. Paid for the hotel breakfast before transiting to hurawalhi island resort but we were told to depart by 6am to the airport and breakfast will not be provided as they only start serving breakfast from 7.30am onwards. This is my second visit to Maldives and this visit is definitely a let down.

Staff are friendly and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Restaurants offer international and local foods. Breakfast was good and theme buffet for dinner was good. Rooms service was fast and taste of food also good. Highly recommended for one or two nights in male city for a exceptional price

Room:

Relative to Male, this is probably the nicest hotel on the island. In the US, the standard room we rented would be most similar to a Microtel. The halls themselves will not easily accommodate two people side by side.

Experience:

The service was great for the most part, although it was sometimes difficult to discern employees from guests since they didn't all wear a uniform. The hotel was perfectly prompt with all rides to and from the airport ferry.

We were shooed out of the restaurant due to a private event, so we ordered room service which was tuna soup (which I am convinced was a chicken ramen packet mixed with canned tuna and a few green onions added) and wings (which were delicious and came with fries).

Surprises:

The hotel does not look like the images on the website. There is a garage door that opens as an entrance to the hotel and reveals the sign shown in the google images, but I would say the pictures are deceiving.

Suggestions:

Take the tuna soup off the menu or find a new recipe, it's detracting from the otherwise good food.

Standardize employee garb so that they are easily recognizable.

Excellent food and room service. Very friendly staff. Rooms are super clean, comfortable and can recommend to anyone. Centre of the Male. One of the best places to stay in the main island.
