Decent hotel and it is located in the south which is less touristic if comparing to the north part of the island. The island is small and it is not too much walking though.

They have a great tour (we went snorkeling). Rest of service at hotel was ok. WiFi is available, but didn't seem to work right during our stay (some websites would not load at all). Bed is very comfortable, as is the rest of the room. So the tour makes it four stars. If I would rate just the hotel I would give it three stars.

Not 4 star hotel. I would say more like luxury B&B. Continental breakfast. There is LCD TV, but aerial signal poor. Has Wifi, internet speed as mostly everywhere 100kB/s
Has swimming pool, small but enough. About 70m to local prison but nothing intrusive. Close to police and a bank. . Staff very friendly and helpfull. View on the sea a bit obstructed by nearby rooftops. About 200m in straight line to the port. Communal beach on other end of the island.

An overrated hotel! Not a 4-star hotel - it does not meet the requirements at all: the location quite far from the beach, close to maafushi prison and there is no proper sea view.

The breakfast buffet is very very poor: only one kind of fruit, cereal, water, waffle or pancake not that fresh, the bread (on dirty towel), tiny omelette on request.

I don't advise you to take all inclusive as in Maafushi you can find not expensive local restaurants where you can have lovely dinner by the OCEAN and not inside the hotel. Maafushi Island can disappoint you. As being muslim country the alcohol is not allowed in the whole island.

Two of us went a fishing trip for $25 each from hotel arrangement. Captain crew caught 4 fishes . We ended keeping all of the fish and hotel cooked the fish for free. Staff very friendly. Very good experience!
