Good for what it is. Value for money. Food tasted good. More of a diner than a restaurant. (Cape Town, South Africa)
Amazing! We leave in the north of Mauritius which has absolutely no restaurants so coming to Flic en Flac was a real treat! Deliciously made indian food, highly recommended!
We was here at January 2018 and sitting at the first floor was really romantic. Especially during sunset through the trees - it's great. They have a big menu list, sometimes hard to select, but everything what we order smells and taste great. During evening (in high season) is sometimes harder to take a place, but if you wait a few mins you can enjoy fine moments with food ;)
Has great food for affordable price and i just love the terrace
I was skeptical of this place because it also offers vehicle rentals. These are two things that don't often go together. Fortunately I gave it a try and the food was great. This was one of the best restaurants we ate at while on Mauritius. The service was good and fast and the food was cheap. They accept credit cards, maestro, and even dollar and pounds. I paid via maestro so I didn't check the exchange rate they offered against the current rate on XE, but it's nice that they give the option.
Food was good and got terrace as expected. But the waitress was really rude and not even a smile on her face. Though with other customers, even her full teeth could be seen. And point to be noted, that we are customers of ZE since Day 1 literally.
Great first visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful..especially the owner/manager ( he’s had a few bad reviews but I found him very funny with his own special sense of humour). We had the take away tonight but they took me up and showed me the veranda with ocean sea views. Beautiful, we will go back soon to eat inside. YOU must try the giant prawns they were huge and delicious 🦐🦐
True halal! Great mixture of Chinese and Indian cuisines with hint of Arabic flavor. Very good food. Relatively small portions. No alcohol. Perfectly clean. Attentive service. We really enjoyed everything! Masala Tea is a must have)
The indian and chinese place food in Flic en flac. I recommend strongly.
Great food, friendly and fast service at prices one can afford.
Excellent food with remarkable service and quick order. Will definitely go there again!
Quality food, full stop.
Place looks like a fast food but you'll be surprised by the quality.
A little on the expensive side given it's in a highly touristic area.
Great food and service. We tried the chicken nahari, chicken butter masala, vegetarian samosa, garlic naan, cheese naan, and safron rice. It was a lot for 2 people as the portions are decent but we wanted to sample different items.
Good variety of Indian Cuisines available. Taste is very close to being authentic. Good friendly service. Pricing is reasonable for a touristic location. Seating is decent. 10-15 mins walk from Sugar Beach and La Pirogue hotels. Regular local buses ply around the restaurant coastal road.
I love the food. Chicken and mutton slightly tough but overall I recommend it. Even for take aways
Lovely place to Eat if staying in Flic En Flac. Milkshakes are lovely jubbly .. And food 🍲 always fresh.. Quite cheap as well multi winner 🥇 with trip advisor.. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Halal food. Fresh and tasty. Reasonable service. They know they are good and you can sense that in their attitude. Confidence/ arrogance depending on how forgiving you are towards customer service.
Bland food, all curries tasted same. Portions served good for two people only.
Really delicious food and their mutton bryani is really awesome. Do book your table before you visit as during peak time, its difficult to get a free table!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Flic en flac. Excellent standard of Mauritian cuisine Indian and Chinese. Very efficient service friendly Staff and very good value
Fantastic place, we had a takeaway the biryiani was pukka. Absolutely loved it. So much flavour to their food
Superb indian food at very good price. The location is great also.
Nice place at the seaside to appreciate a good Indian food
Popular with the self catering community. Breakfast on the road terrace. Beautiful unobstructed sea view. Price in relation to service.
Very tasty food. Very quick service. Very nice and romantic environment with magnificent view of the sunset. Comfortable feeling with warm welcoming and air conditioned
“Great food, very reasonable prices”
Having seen that Zub is now the #1 restaurant in FnF, I booked the family a table for dinner.
While the food was great - very tasty, not too hot, the rest of the package was so-so. The waiters were not very knowledgeable about the menu/dishes, and one of them was barely able to speak French/Creole, never mind English. The interior is also a bit run-down, with inadequate lighting, and the chairs/table arrangement was not very comfortable. In that respect, this place will give you an authentic Mauritian experience. It was also disappointing to note that they do not serve any kind of alcohol.
Not too sure that I will be back there - unless they do takeaways, which I can enjoy at home with an ice-cold Phoenix.
