  The climate is cool relative to other places on the island. The infrastructure would benefit from some improvement be it the library, cafeteria or common room. Those responsible for the laboratory practicals are helpful and instructive and the student union is welcoming. However, some lecturers tend to be cold especially to newcomers and the administrative procedures for students like distribution of student bus pass and student ID take a significant time. The UOM library has only one to two holdings for some book which can prove disadvantageous for the students.
