About

• Tasmania Limited Belize was first formed in May of 2001 for the sole purpose of entering the worldwide market of slop/sludge oil collection and reprocessing and recycling. Tasmania has the patents on a hazardous waste treatment known as DCR (Dispersion by Chemical Reaction). • Tasmania Limited had the first hazardous waste permits in Texas starting back in the early 60's. • In the beginning of 2001, now 8 years later, by steadily building its expertise and experience, Tasmania and its associates' have operations that extend worldwide. In that brief time-span they have successfully undertaken collections slop/sludge oil in Africa, North America, the Middle East and the Far East. • From then on Tasmania Limited started getting offers to process slops from areas within Southern Africa which was why in March 2003 Tasmania Limited Mauritius was formed. This new division enabled us to also service opportunities in Middle/East Africa and the Far East.• In December of 2008 we provided technical assistance to build a 3,000 barrel per day processing plant in Sharjah, UAE which is now in full operation. We import various grades of off spec crude oil, slop oils and other material for processing in the plant. • Tasmania Limited has recently also built an oil terminal in Harare, Zimbabwe for the distribution of oil products within Zimbabwe. • In 2008 Tasmania removed over 15,000 tons of sludge oil from the refinery terminal in Maputo, Mozambique. We also removed oil from Total Mozambique and BP Mozambique. • In 2009 Tasmania bought and removed off spec kerosene from the BP Terminal in northern Mozambique. • Tasmania is currently testing heavy sludge removal from Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia using its patented method of DCR Technology. The test on the project will be completed by the end of November 2009.• The DCR method is also being studied by the Vietnamese and Venezuelan Government with testing imminent.
