The food here was delicious! A little slow to get to the table, but well worth the wait.
We had the Tandoori prawns (Jheenga), Yello Dhaal, rice and naan and we were stuffed! I highly recommend it if you are in this part of the island. The staff were great and the restaurant was clean and tidy. There was free wifi too!

This place has some of the best food in Mauritius. The staff is extremely friendly and welcome you back every time. Had I known of this place earlier, I would have selected a breakfast only option at the hotel I was staying in and opted to have dinner here everyday.
While they have a detailed menu, they have no hesitation in cooking up anything you want. We asked for some local specialities that were not on the menu and that too vegetarian and they had no hesitation in whipping them up.
The spice and salt levels were also to our liking.
They were also always nice enough to explain the ingredients in the food especially if we appreciated any of the dishes.
Would highly recommend a visit.
BTW, they also have a store next door which is reasonably priced where you could buy water, chips, biscuits and also souvenirs.

This food served is absolutely delicious. All prepared fresh and so tasty. The waiter is knowledable about all dishes and will give advice on ordering any dishes. Located on a main road next to the Solana Hotel an absolute must if staying in Belle Mare area.

Visited symon on recommendation of our bus driver along with another couple

Ordered indian food 2 vegetables dish and naan both were cooked nicely and was delicious although wasnt spicy as in india it was still good.
Naan took bit of time to arrrive but was fulfilling and sumptuous..

Starters were greatand thenI received my main course of chicken/egg and noodles, which is when I found a fly in my food. Once I made the waiter aware of this his response was absolutely ridiculous😂 He said that when it's hot the flies fly towards the fan to cool off (we were seated underneath a fan) and one must been flung or blown on to my plate by the fan. No dude, that fly was as oily and sauced up as my noodles and chicken. Anyway, I was not put off or mad for that matter and simply removed the fly and continued to eat my meal. We then requested the bill, at around 19.38pm.time went on and I grew restless, I even made eye contact a few times hoping he would register and bring the damn bill! He didn't, so I got up and went to the reception/bar only to be absolutely disgusted by the state of it. We were seated outside so I wasn't expecting a spotless place, but even the inside was gross. The waiting staff seemed so disorganized and dirty dishes
