Saint Leon Church is found in Quartier Militaire.Sometimes back an idol of Velankanni was brought from Kerala,India and was placed thereat by a clergyman who came to serve at Saint Leon Church.That idol of Goddess of Health or Hygeai attracted many and with time people are flocking at like a national place of pilgrimage.,usually on Wednesdays.

Lovely church ⛪ with a peaceful and pious. atmosphere. People of different religions around Mauritius come to this divine place to pray. Our Lady of Good Health(Our Lady of Vailankanni) is present over there. Mass every Tuesday as from 9 a.m. Parking facility available. There is also a shop behind the church where you can buy religious items for prayer.

Lovely church ⛪. It is so peaceful. People around Mauritius come to this place to pray. Our Lady of Good Health(Our Lady of Vailankanni) is present over there. It has a good parking area.
