  Had high hopes for this restaurant after reading all the great reviews and the article in the Air Mauritius magazine but alas we were disappointed.
  The owner was very attentive to her guests until she heard our feedback about the poor food quality
  The service from wait staff was not very polished either. Most things on the menu were not available but only found that out when you ordered. There was no guinea fowl, no chicken baletine so we had to choose other dishes.
  When the food arrived which was the Lamb, the beef and the fish they all were served with the same sauce, frozen style vegetables and mash
  Absolutely nothing like the gourmet photos you see on the website and the magazine.
  The lamb was ordered medium but came very rare. When cut into blood poured all over the plate.
  The beef was ordered medium rare and was over cooked. Sent back the lamb and it was returned simplyly being cut up and pan fried and then more of the pepper sauce poured over it. Sauce was way to peppery and meal was uneditable
  Through out the evening there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke which was off putting. The smokers stood directly outside the front of the restaurant with the restaurant doors left open so the smoke came directly back in.
  The price for the meals did not match the quality of the food or service. In fact we showed our waitress the photos of the food we saw on their website and asked why ours didn’t look anything like this. We were told those were done by a different chef who has now left.
  So there is our explanation as to why a restaurant that has high reviews was not experienced by us.
  I hope the old chef returns otherwise all advertising material should change as you are not getting what you believe you should.

  Cozy place, while still affording privacy between the tables. The food is cooked and presented extremely well, with duly trained staff. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and a widely recognised chef for good reason.

  A truly gourmet restaurant. About Euro 100 for a dinner for two without drinks. The location is 300Mt to the west.
