Far more variety than any other of the supermarkets in the area.
The best is the freshly baked french loaves. Otherwise rather tatty!
Good supermarket you have everything you need
Decent and varied selection, good bakery
#coooooooooool
Huge selection and good specials
Best place of Port Louis.
Takky place but okay for some quick shopping.
One can find nearly everything there, good choice of products. However not the best setup nor the friendliest staff! Space around veg and fruit area very bad, shop needs a complete revamping and shopping would be much more pleasant.
Nice supermarket. They have really everything. Though quite busy and hectic at times, when Tamarin HiSo woman are running with their caddies trough the shop.
Very nice option 👍🏼
Gluten free stuffs and all ki ds of things you dont usually find in mauritius.
Large car park & supermarket. Good variety of produce.
Great products available and has good fast foods.
Great selection of products at competitive prices. Good bakery.
Huge shopping mall with reasonable prices. Very helpful staff
Nice place for shopping, spacious, caring and a great mixité of shoppers.
Pretty decent supermarket in the area with average food.
The only supermarket in riviere noire. Some items are ok but can be really pricy if you are on a budget.
Acceptable supermarket, it has all you need. Surprisingly dirty floors maybe it's just because of careless shoppers
Bit dirty but a good grocery store. Everyone was pleasant!
One of the two largest supermarkets, this one closes at Sundays 12.30 as opposed to Shoprite 17.00 hrs. Most so called promotions are stock liquidation where item's best before date is expiring. These types of "promotions" are common in Mauritius. Only Jumbo differentiates.
If you want value for money stock up with hypermarkets in the center of the island. Bagatelle, Curepipe and Phoenix are better options. If you are a tourist then the choice variety would be Black River.
You would find absolutely everything under one single roof!!! One of the best supermarket in mauritius
Local Mauritius supermarket. They stock everything you might need while you there for your holiday trip and not staying in a hotel. The prices are good (for South African travels not using dollars) You can also use your normal credit card and select which currency you would like to pay in. Friendly staff and they understand English.
The supermarket provides more or less all your "needs", as per our (Mauritian) perspective.
Watch out for "Special Promotions", if you look carefully the "best of before" date is about to expire. More attention to the cheese section, where they cut from the block, but the cheese block is probably expiring, holds a week in the fridge and starts molding in its plastic film wrap.
Prices can differ from the 2 large supermarket in Black River, and on some items up to 100%. Shop around.
Vegetables and fruits are not always fresh. Apricots, Nectarine, Plums are probably stored at low temperature and fruits rot from the inside out. Common issue in Mauritius.
In view that there are only 2 main supermarkets within a 5 km radius, it would be difficult to rate in perspective. As a Mauritian consumer I would rate this 4 but from a foreigner's perspective 2 out of 5.
The staff are somewhat "colder" and that may lie in the disparity of wealth in this region.
I always feel the place is not clean.
Large and full of variety. Great place to get London brand white bread.
A variety of european foods. Often low on fresh vegetables, fruit and milk during the high tourist season. Great baguettes. Can be a bit difficult to navigate.
It has a different variety of items to be sold compared to other supermarkets. Wide selection too. Only if you in the area shopping there will help
Large varieties of good Scott and co wines. Excellent product offering
