High-end food in a nice and classy setting. Perfectly sized portion with good value for money if you consider the quality food. Impeccable service
Very over priced for the quality of food served.
We had the fresh water prawn risotto with chilli oil. Risotto rice was very under cooked but the prawns were tasteless and over cooked. Had to send it back.
Also had the tuna which was an expensive tuna roll wrapped in filo pastry with very uninspiring sauce and veg. We can only recommend the wine.
Found it rude that they didn’t give the women a menu with the prices on it, but the man did. Are are we still living in the 60’s. Very disappointed overall and don’t recommend.
Excellent food, amazing location and great service. They bring a lot of extra little appetizers before every course. I really recommend the duck fillet and camarones with risotto and three papaya for dessert. A little bit on the expensive side tho.
Wanted to taste the best sea foods, unfortunately the restaurant was closed at the time. But we had cafe and left the restaurant. Ambinace , sea view , interiors in the restaurant were awesome. Connectivity to this restaurant is poor.
Wanna be Michelin star restaurant. Definitely priced that way but food and service are poor.
Only had one night in Mauritius so wanted to go for dinner somewhere special. Previous reviews pointed to Le Pescatore but poor connectivity prevented looking at the menu online. When we got there decided to go for the MRs 2,600 set menu which was far more than we are used to spending. However it was well worth it. The food was excellent, with plenty of extra little courses and perfect service. Would definately go back (if we were staying longer)
Food is good, but way overpriced
perfect tuna with a remarkable view!
Highly recommend. Fantastic seafood
Great food, best we've had on the island. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice view at the ocean, it raised a romantic feeling. Its pretty expensive, but I guess the food and the atmosphere is worth it. We came for dinner and it was an allmost perfect experience. What bothered me though was the amount of insects at the table. This probably can't be helped with a restaurant right at the seaside. Still though having insects in your drink and crawling all over your table lamp was irritating to say at least.
Would still recommend a visit if you can afford it, even a detour if you've got the time.
Impeccable - what great Food, most lovely staff and owner and wonderful atmosphere! A must go to when in Mauritius!!!
Perfect setting, delicious food and a memorable end to our holiday to Mauritius. Thanks Odile for having us. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!
Beautiful place for lunch. Seaview restaurant
Fresh ingredients, intricately worked dishes, some Mauritian magic and a passionate chef. Result: Best seafood on the island.
Nice restaurant at a nice location at the beach. A bit pricy, but the food is excellent.
Good food, nice view but too expensive.
