Great local Mauritius restaurant. Local dishes, great service and very well priced. Extremely busy and has a great atmosphere. Would recommend the tropical chicken and pineapple salad as well as the fried rice. Samosas are delicious addition too!

The first time everything was fine. The second time pina colada was so-so, with flakes of milk inside. The third time we went away before the order, because we were told to sit only at the bar (although there were a lot of tables, but if you tell that you want to drink something, go to the bar, no other option). But it was impossible to stay there because of loud music. We asked to turn down a bit - no possible again. No, no, no So we went away. I guess that the bar is not only about cheap food, but also about good vibes and friendly atmosphere. In this place there is nothing like this, and like some other places of Mauritius, they seem to hate their guests deep inside. Disappointed.

Friendly with good atmosphere and good staff and cheap. Meal for two was under 1000 rupees including a beer and a soft drink. However the veal we ordered turned out to be liver and the chicken escalope was just a slab of fried chicken.
Toilets and hand wading facilities need serious attention.response / report this review -

Plats simples et authentiques, l'ambiance est sympathique, le personnel également. Tout ça pour de petits prix, avec les petits rhum arrangés maison Nous avons passé une belle soirée :-)

Very good local restaurant, with delicious Mauritian food and at correct prices. The waiters are very welcoming and will give their recommendations openly. Many locals frequent the restaurant. Will definitely return!

Not too great. The food is very competitively priced but that's pretty much the only good thing to say about here. The food I had was disappointing, many items were not available on the menu and overall experience was not great. I had ordered a Mauritian fish and I got a basic grilled fish with a small bowl of tomato soup on the side. It was nothing like any other Mauritian fish items I had ordered across the island which were full of flavour and marinated with incredible spices. After hearing so many good things about the place I was left somewhat disappointed.
