  A place in the city centre where you find peace and tranquility even on busy days. Jummah Masjid is a place of worship for Muslims. A visit is a must.

  This is one of the oldest Mosque in Mauritius. Built in 1853, the Jummah Masjid is an architectural marvel. It also contains the mausoleum of one of the greatest Saints in Mauritius, Syed Peer Jamal Shah who came from India to teach Islam.
