Exceptional experience ! We took the full day cruise with dolphins and îles des Benitiers and skippers were kind, professionals and well organized. As we went far enough for the coast we were almost alone with the dolphins and we were able to literally swim with them! Lunch (and rum) at the beach was great, there local sellers are waiting for you but were very kind and not agressive at all. If you want to see dolphins I can definitely recommend

The trip is good. However individual time is limited. We left our gopro camera in the shower area and it got stolen within minutes. When we pointed out that we saw a cleaning staff entering that area, it got miraculously found in the toilet away from shower area. This could happen when we asked them to call the police. I know valuables are our own responsibility etc etc but i was disappointed by their honesty.

For quite a while, we had sightings of only a few dolphins at the Black River area. Then the guys speeded over to Flic en Flac area and we saw over twenty.
At any one time, one crew member jumped into the water and led two of us to the dolphins.
So you are guranteed to "swim" with (or chase) the dolphins every time you jump in. Each pair of us had about two or three "dives".
On the boat, we also saw spinners doing their spins.
Started at about 0715 and finished just past 1000.
We booked and paid online with no problem. Communication via email was swift.
It's much much easier to take video than still pics. Bring a waterproof one.response / report this review -

This was a rollercoaster experience! Thanks to Tom and Gaël to guide us during these exciting moments. I swam between at least 20 dolphins! Our crew was a big contrast to some other boats who didn't show any respect for the dolphins. The rest of the day was awesome as well: the snorkling, the BBQ and the boat ride.

They provide sea excursions, mostly sightseeing and swimming with the dolphins. This whole industry is not regulated corrected and therefore can be abusive for the tourist, let alone the dolphins who need to rest. my rating is based on the fact that they offer this service and nothing else.

Great experience swimming with the dolphins. The Dolswim team are experience enough to get us out there before the crowds gathered (we left at 0715). Minus point maybe is just too short of a swim, but with us having a first time encounter, it might never be enough.
Whale watching on the other hand was a bit let down. Of course there was no guarantee to see any, but with the staff lack of explanation over how and why they are doing what they are doing when they are doing it; with only 3 attempts to sonar detect the whale within the long 2 hrs bumpy boat ride, makes the trips seems rather lacking somehow. Great place to go swimming with dolphins followed by a barbie on the beach. When we went, there were just half a dozen other boats, so it wasn't crowded and the dolphins were not frightened off. We went on an all inclusive day, with free rum. Be very very careful, getting drunk and swimming in lovely warm sea can lead to problems.
