They were receptive to our request for a 1 day rental at a very good price. The car was delivered and collected from the hotel. I would recommend taking the GPS option for a few euros a day. Strongly recommend this company.

We researched online to hire a car at short notice whole in Mauritius. AKD were quick to respond with an exact make and model of car that will be provided. They offered a reasonable cost for the car and delivered to the hotel on the day and time agreed. They were flexible on date time and place on which the car can be returned and we did so at the airport which was straight forward. We appreciate the professional service and will highly recommend AKD to anyone.

In Mauritius, AKD gave one of the cheapest rates. Handing over the car was very simple. Thanks to Mr Vikesh we came to know the rules and area very easily. We got I20 and car condition was very good. We traveled for 6 days and it was hassle free journey. While returning, please specify the specific spot to the person for easy return. I found person standing at B-2 parking spot after some searching. Overall, I will definitely recommend AKD to my friends and to any person reading this. Cheap and new car they gave to me, Thanks a lot!!!!!!

Car was clean and fully functional.
The customer service is briliant, they are able to deliver car at any point in Maurtius and recive it from antother ANY location.

Without any extra fee they returned my belongs which I left in car to my hotel.

We would highly recommend this company as being really customer orientated. We started off with requesting an estimate for a 11 day car hire in early September of this year, the estimate was soon received along with insurance protection option and sat nav hire. We chose the option that suited us and the forms were sent via email to fill in, which we did and returned swiftly. The car arrived on time in good condition, and the delivery driver went out of his way to explain the controls and also the best places to visit.on the island. On completion of the rental we handed the keys to reception and the car was collected.
We cannot highly recommend this company enough.

We are very glad we got in touch with Pop Mauritius. They were among the very few companies that had motorcycle rental that we could find online. They responded to all our questions in a timely manner and dropped the bike at our chosen location as well. We rented the scooter for our 7 day trip and we never had any trouble during our time there. The rental was kind enough to provide us two helmets and also provided us night vision safety vest for riding after 6 pm in Mauritius. We highly recommend the team.

Arranged everything easily but email. AKD were waiting at the airport exactly where they said they would be. Car nice and clean and the handover went smoothly. Decided to return the car earlier on the same day, just called them up and they were waiting. Everything went without a hitch. Well Done.

We rented economy car for 15 days. We got Hyundai I10. Small and great car for Mauritius roads. Don't take big ones, because usually you have to pass other cars stopping at the side of the road, and sometimes there is very small space. Also at tourist attraction points small car also have it's benefits :) Persons who gave and took a car were very pleasent. They explained everything about car and gave us instructions what to do if something bad happens. There wasn't any problems at the end of car rental. I really recommend you to rent a car from this local company. Do not try any other international companies, because you pay much more only for it's name.

We had a very nice car while we were vacationing on Mauritius. A representative was at the airport when we arrived and quickly got the paperwork done. The car was reliable, very clean, and just what we needed for our time on the island. We would definitely use AKD car rental if we come back to Mauritius.

Just hired a Toyota Avanza for 6 days for about 45 Euros per day, and thoroughly enjoyed driving the vehicle. Low mileage, good condition, automatic with eight seats, so plenty of space for four people and luggage. The drop off and collection were efficient, and I would thoroughly recommend using AKD car hire on your visit to Mauritius. No complicated insurance forms, extra drivers, credit cards. They just kept it simple and easy.

AKD offers excellent customer services in Mauritius. Hema was quick to reply to my queries and I could get a car within 2-3 hours of contacting her. The car was delivered at the desired location and different modes of payment were made available making the whole renting experience of cars, in Mauritius very convenient. AKD was also accommodating in listening to my request and in meeting it. I will definitely recommend AKD to all my friends, and I'm looking forward to enjoying renting cars from AKD in the future during my visit to Mauritius.

I highly recommend this company. They're efficient and polite. The paper work is minimal and the charges are reasonable. I set up the whole thing over a few e mails and when I landed at the airport all I had to do was sign a simple contract. In fact when I wanted to extend my rental, they did not ask me to come in and sign a new contract or make a payment. They simply agreed in good faith over a phone call and I made the payment at the end when I handed the car in at the airport. If you're looking for a hassle free and reasonable car rental service in Mauritius, you should give AKD a shot.
