Museum Is open till 17h but factory on friday close at 11h,so if you want to visit that as well,come sooner. Museum explains history of the place but ticket offers Tea degustation - this Is a bit far so make sure you have a car.

Taste the tea flavours of Mauritius including the Native Vanilla tea varieties. In the expansive tea estate at Bois Cheri enjoy great views of the South and the gardens and plantations and wildlife.

The tea house is very nicely placed in the middle of a tea plantation. The food was ok in the restaurant, but we had bugs and flies in the sugar can for the tea. Disgusting. After complaining, we got a survey to write down our opinion. So here it is.

Me and my friends visited the Tea Factory last year in May. The tea was incredible, the factory itself was a bit boring, but the tea tasting was worth everything!! Beautiful place and kind staff !!

Love this place. The restaurant is good. And tea tasting has such a variety of flavours, the tea shop sells the tea. It is good to do the tea tasting first and then to buy the flavours you like.

Been there a few times & always amazing. Whether to see the tea factory in operation, live the history of Mauritius through the tea museum, have some great food in the chalet or enjoy a great time on the lake A must for anyone.

Well worth a visit. A short drive from the motorway and you are in the hills. We were visiting the Sacred Hindu Temples at Grand Bassin and called in on our way back down. Quaint museum, lovely tea tasting followed by lunch at the panoramic restaurant, top marks for service and food.
