Arcade Salaffa was built in front of my eyes when i was a teenager in the early 70's completed in beginning of 80's. The land there was like a small forest with weeds and bushy it very fastly was reknown all around the island and is the unique place in Mauritius with so many commercial markets/shops.

When we were young and going to RCC we used to roam here during recreation. Many of us started smoking in this arcade. Those happy days.

It needs a renovation. Some shops display their goods in the corridor, which hinders the smooth movement of shoppers. More of a bazaar!

It's a beautiful arcade with movement
And there are many shop in it.
Beautiful clothes are sold there for kids men and women.
Even shoes shop
Electrical equipment shop like washing machine tv mobile kids game ..
There is so much to say .. u should take a visit there

This place is great for any shopping, clothing, electrical appliances, jewellery, makeup, cutlery etc.
There is also plenty of food stalls and is situated very close to the main bus stop, so it's convient for travel purposes.
Stalls have many items so it's advised to walk through to see what each have to offer.

The shops offer good variety - all clothing and accessories and toys and food and household appliances. There's also the possibility of bargaining for a better price.
