Barbros Group has been constructing roads for over 40 years, catering chiefly to the public sector through government agencies and departments as well as local councils. Barbros Group’s expansive list of past projects includes several arterial roads in Hal Far and Attard as well as a large number of residential roads. In addition to road construction, the company has successfully carried out contracts for the installation of infrastructure within the road developments.

In recent years, Barbros Group has also ventured into embellishment and landscaping projects by servicing, supplying and/or the laying of paving in large public spaces as well as conducting ancillary landscaping. Noteworthy projects include landscaping the Cottonera and Marsaxlokk Waterfronts, paving Valletta’s prominent Merchants Street, and embellishing St George’s Square.

Additionally Schembri Barbros is frequently called upon for excavation, demolition as well as civilian and building works. In fact, a number of important sites and factories on the Maltese Islands owe their existence to the Schembri Barbros construction process.
