  Totally new aeroport, all with international standards. Great work! I really appreciate the work behind that!
  You should just think about your transfer to the down town after your landing- about 30km away-!! Finding a taxi is not that easy in Nouakchott, specially when they ask you for 10000 ouguia/20€ for that. :)

  New airport ✌️
  Visa process is fast but a little expensive ($65 for non-Arabic - 23000 Mauritanian Ouguiya and $40 for Arabic - 14000 Mauritanian Ouguiya)
  But it's a little far to city center (30km) You should be consider the distance planning your trip. There is no public transportation and I didn't see any taxi around the airport.
