  J'ai adoré parceque c'était ma première fois et j'ai aussi adoré l'exposition sur l'ouguiya et le personnel était vraiment accueillant et j'ai beaucoup appris

  Museum was really great although almost all of the information is in French or Arabic (two signs had some English). There's a really interesting collection of artifacts and on the second floor they have a cool model of traditional architecture in Oulata. One negative though is that we were almost kicked out by a security guard who threatened to call the police on us because he thought my friends cheap sunglasses (which were hanging from his shirt) were some kind of spy camera. After putting the sunglasses away he (not so stealthily) followed us around the museum.

  المتحف الوطني، تم بناؤه بتمويل من جمهورية الصين الشعبية في إطار الدعم الذي تقدمه للجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية. و يُعد المتحف الوطني، أحد أهم المعالم الثقافية في العاصمة نواكشوط. يقع في حي كابيتال بجوار مبنى البرلمان.

  يعرض أقدم الآثار الموريتانية القديمة ومما يثير استغرابي أنني قد رأيت فيه سن فيل بطول 1م تقريبا!

  المتحف الوطني. من أكثر الأماكن زيارة من السياح والمهتمين بالتراث الموريتاني الحساني الإفريقي الإسلامي. وهو الجامع لتراثنا بمختلف عصوره وحقبه من العصر ماقبل الحجري إلى أيامنا المعاصرة. يضم هذا المتحف أجنحة وصالات عرض مؤقتة، تستضيف الأنشطة والمعارض في فترات مختلفة من السنة. على السائح أو الزائر أن لا يفوت الفرصة لإلقاء نظرة على التاريخ الموريتاني وتكوين صورة لهذا التاريخ الغني المتنوع.
