I spent a month on campus as a Fulbright scholar in Nov. 2015. Thanks for all the views to the pictures. The university is located on Hengqin Island (formerly Zhuhai) connected by a short tunnel near the Cotai strip, Macau's modern gambling area. The rest of the island has an ecological zone. I also understand a shipping port is being built on the inland side.

Confucius, located new campus, is a Chinese famous saint. His sculpture is single color, Eastern thought that sculpture doesn't need much of the color. He is holding a sword and he was dressed very formally. Eastern thought saints need to dress very nice that can show their prestige. His expression is very serious, that can make everyone worship him and follow his theory.

Art is all around us. We can use any things to complete a product. In manufacture process, it can release our pressure and present our idea. I took two photo in university of Macau faculty of design. Photo 1 style is abstractionist because we can not easy know what things on paper. The main shapes are geometry. It is painting work that make me feeling is being limited and have a hope. Because we can see the line clearly and have several colour on painting. Photo 2 is Chinese style, calligraphy is writing many word on paper. For all that every word shape have a different, we can understand easily. Because every word have a meaning. The main colour is white and black, so give me feel that seriously. Although there are great differences in the color, both through paper to express idea. Thus, colour and shape will decide a work of art style.
