A‌ series of 5 old mansion Houses. One of them has the furniture set-up for viewing ,one is set up as a souvenir shop, two have exhibitions and one is not open for visiting. Peaceful place to watch the historical residential buildings and church in 💓 of city. Worth visiting if you pass by taipa.

Tranquil and peaceful place to watch the historical residential buildings and church in the heart of the city.
Here you can have a good look of cityscapes from the wetlands around these houses listening to the songbirds

In fact, the museum is so so, but I really like the exterior of these buildings. The area around Taipa House Museum including Our Lady of Carmel Church and Carmel Garden is like a fairy-tale village. In my opinion, it is much better to visit here during the days than at night.

A nice place to visit to experience what life was like in the early 20th Century if you were rich and Portugese. Very nicely restored with good explanations in English with beautiful grounds.

The houses are pretty but there isn't really that much in them, nor in the area. I wouldn't consider this site a must-see.

Traditional architecture with unique cultural features. Worth a visit since there's not much to see in Macau. Recommend passing by if you're going to Cunha Street.

A collection of old colonial era houses that have been converted into galleries and a simple museum, overlooking a lake and tall hotels where the sea once was.

A relaxing experience where you can just walk around and enjoy the scenery, as well as soak in the history of the place. The place boasts a nice view for photos as well, with a neighbouring garden with different themes throughout the year.

Very interesting architecture that gives visitors a good insight on the history of Macau before and then after the Portuguese came.

This museum is an alive demonstration of the daily lives of Macanese. While the buildings themselves are already historical objects, the exhibitions inside are quite interesting as well.
