Average food but lovely 70s atmosphere. Boss was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. As mentioned, you go there for the atmosphere and not the food. It's near to the local market, which provides an interesting diversion. Unfortunately limited cab availability around the local areas. Bus is a better option for getting back to Cotai. A few.one stars were reviews based on the dim.sum prices - but food in Macau is significantly more expensive than in Greater China so the complaints are somewhat unfair.

We wanted to reserve a table but was told it not necessary. Fine so we took a cab but was held up by fire engine deployed in the middle of a single lane road. Cab driver suggested that we walk the rest of the way and we complied. By the time we get to the restaurant it was 1230 hrs.

First thing we heard once we sat down is most of the dim sum are already sold out.

Whatever we had is nothing to shout about. The only thing that is still acceptable is the poached chicken.

So if you are going there for a feel of good old days then please go, otherwise please don't take the effort to go hunt it down. You need to ask around even if you are near to it.

Check it out yourself and you will know what I meant. Happy hunting.
