The only 400m track in Macau peninsula. Open from 6am to 8am every morning. Good place for running.

Dogs in this hell hole are brutalised and abused throughout their short lives. Greyhounds are 'retired' when they're injured or unable to race by being slaughtered.

This place needs to be closed down for the immense cruelty they are responsible for towards greyhound dogs. They killed 30 grey hound in one month by taking them to killing fields and stepping on their throats and suffocating them. It is shocking that the Macau Canidrome is allowed to continue killing and torturing loyal dogs.

You sick creatures don't even feel for the innocent dogs you kill for this useless "entertainment"? You have no right to murder these poor animals. I hope what you're doing now will happen to you. I'd go by the negative in star rating, but I had to write a review, so I did one star. Don't expect this from me anymore, you dirty inhumane savages.

Absolutely horrendous hellhole. No dog ever survives and leaves here alive. 800 dogs and only 9 handlers. Dogs are kept in darkness in tiny cells with 92% humidity during the day and raced at night. If they don't get placed in 5 races they are then sold for meat. This place needs to be closed down immediately.

This track has no place in modern society. Greyhounds are now being purchased and transported from Ireland to race and die here. It is a 100% kill rate for all. They are kept in inhumane,abusive conditions. They die if they fail to place in the top three of five consecutive races, or during relentless so called training sessions,or at the end of their career. Every. Single. One. Dies. Please do not consider this venue as a place to visit. MACAU needs to close this venue if it wishes to improve its attractiveness to tourists. China has a wealth of cultural,historical places. This is not one of them.

The Canidrome, Macau receives a rating of zero stars, but I had to leave one for this review to be posted. This establishment is known as 'the world's deadliest race track'. Unscrupulous greyhound owners of the racing industry have made a deal with the devil. The devil being the Macau Canidrome. It's described as a hell-hole because China has no animal welfare regulations, and there is no greyhound adoption program for when the dogs can no longer race. The pic below is genuine, and shows handlers hurling these greyhounds over crowd barriers by their necks. A greyhound must win 3 in 5 races or face certain death. These dogs are not humanely destroyed, and some are skinned alive for the Yulin dog meat festival. As of May 15 2016, it's the Irish greyhound that faces this horrific fate. Speak out against such cruelty. Boycott the Canidrome. DON'T GO . . . DON'T BE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!

A cruel torturous existence for these beautiful, gentle, loyal, loving greyhounds, who deserve much much better than being raced to death. Awful place should be shut down.
