Convenient location. It has a supermarket as well. Prices are bit on the higher side when compared to other shops.

Great place for one stop shopping. Groceries, souvenirs, furniture, electronics, etc. They've got it. Quality and price can be quite high depending on the product you'd like.

Something with historical value. Brands are okay but 10% expensive, good bonus card system.

Perfect place of shoping not only for Mongolian also coming abroad. I feel comfort while shoping into the State Department Store of Mongolia. Both quality and price match with my choice and budget. I found all those items I desire to collect. If I got any chance to visit Mongolia again, no doubt I will be here.

All of the sellers are very kind and very respectful .Everyone really is so comfortable .I 'm very much interested in the big shop, so I' m always interested. I love the bookstore and gaming department. but you have to be sorry for the price, but you have to go in.I am confident that you will be able to provide you with all the comfort you have. thanks for Mongolian department store 😀

Number 1 store for tourists so far. Sadly the elevators take forever to come. The escalator is way faster.

One of few place to offer great selection for everything in cozy environment. But if you are not ready to pay 30 plus percent more, and okay to go crowded market, Narantuul market has almost same selection

A department store that really provides a lot of necessities for those in need of picking up some new clothes, electronics, and lots more. It also serves as a great meet up location with friends sporting a movie theatre and food court on the 6th and 7th floor respectively. Alongside all of them, it includes a supermarket on the first floor. Would recommend shopping here in general.

New cars, electronics, furniture, clothes, toys, housewares, groceries, it's all here! It's a must visit destination. Need to recharge your minutes or a mobile SIM card? Go to the Mobi store inside. Mongolian Souvenirs and gifts are available on the 5th floor with great selection. 1st floor has groceries and a big selection of alcohol. This place has a lot under one roof. I spent 5 hours just looking.

Big department store has all the typical brands. The top floor has Mongolian souvenirs and trinkets. The prices are higher than you will find in a local market, but the quality is probably a little better and the products seem to actually be made in Mongol and not China. There is also a book store on the top floor.

Things are usually a good 30% higher than other places. But, it's more expat-friendly. The supermarket on the first floor has western organic and vegan items. Get the Bonus card to get additional discounts and points. Make sure that you have purchased items before and have a receipt. Also, it costs a few thousand tugriks (I can't remember, but it was very little) when applying.

The State Department Store is not a cheap shopping option. But it does offer condensed centralised shopping - from it's (usually) well-stocked supermarket to the tech floor where you can purchase local SIM cards, a currency exchange (check the rates) and it's souvenir floor.

As mentioned, there are numerous brands / cashmere outlets all on display in the one shop which provide a good general choice. There are seasonal sales as well.

Yes, there are cheaper options available throughout the city but if you're time poor, then this makes a good location to visit. Be careful of the pick-pockets though - especially in peak season. They are very very good!

Not air conditioned so it's super hot during summer. There are many branded stores and sometimes they have decent sales. For foreigners looking to buy mongolian cashmere and wool products, this is the place to go to as it's located in the city center and they have a bunch of different cashmere brands at one location.
