Nice place. We stayed in a ger for the first night in the middle of winter. No toilet or bathroom in the ger so, in the dead of night, if you need to go, you need to know.. get fully dressed, rug up and take a walk up to the main building. Doors are open all night and manned by a security guard so no problems there.
The showers in the main building for ger dwellers don't seem to be used too much (maybe because it was winter) as the mens was locked and the ladies smelled musty. Heater was on flat out but still felt cold whem disrobed and soap dispenser was empty. No bath mat for the floor made it even more cold while drying off.
Other than that, quite an enjoyable relaxing stay over the Tsagan Tsa weekend.response / report this review -

The place looks good at first. Nice mountain cabin design. However, things disintegrate fast since opening little more than a year ago. The metal windows have double glazing only, which is not sufficient for Mongolian winters. Bathrooms have no heating at all. Saving energy is also no concern and lots of doors are open, which results in chilly temperatures in parts of the building. Part of the staff is not much interested in the guests but occupied with their smartphones. Orders at the restaurant are half of the time either forgotten all together or mixed up. The walls between the rooms a pretty thin, so expect a lot of noise on busier weekends. The door locks are not functioning well, most of the time they are not locking and the alarm goes off automatically. That happened at my door and others at the same floor, which gives you a constant alarm ringing through the night. Not worth the money.

Deluxe room: cold ( 2 radiators did not do the job), bathroom has no heating at all.
Food: Breakfast everything that was supposed to be warm or hot was cold, had to buy separately still water and coffee ( buffet coffee was ‘instant’), choice for food very limited.
Lunch: waiter asked to choose pizza or salad as the rest of the food won’t be ready till 2.30 ( it was 1pm).
Dinner: ok
Playground outside is good
View is beautiful
Restaurant itself is very nice

It is little bit crowded on weekend, because restaurant's food is awesome. Expect to wait 30-45 min. I think the room prices are overpriced.

Fantastic view. Cosy and comfortable sleeping. Mongolian Ger is available. Warm and comfortable too. Cost less when you book Ger. But remember Ger is always without attached bathroom. You have to use common bathroom.
