Difficult to reach on your own. After i saw a snake i got scared big time :D not too many path for hiking, challanging to explore those rock cliffs!
Tucked away monastery. Worth the overland to get here.
It's a ruin of an old temple from the middle of 17th century. Hidden deep in the mountain, it took us about an hour to hike in a rocky and bumpy road with wild berry bushes at two sides. It was literally delicious and very beautiful place.
Beautiful sand dunes flanked by rugged granite mountains, half day driving will alow you to visit Khustai National Park and enjoy Wild horses grazing along the way.
Once there, an overnight camping on the edges of the Khogno Tarna sand dunes gives you a sense of diversity of this vast and sparcely populated country.
However, recent trend of local tourism has had it's effect both on the environment and the locals. Trash everywhere, and lack of government regulation on commercialization of this area means questionable food quality and other services.
