The Wonderful Guesthouse is basic, but clean and comfortable. The person at the Guesthouse could not have been more helpful to us. He bought our train tickets for us at 6 a.m. so that we could have breakfast.

Stayed here 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.. the management couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable. I was given a free ride to and from a nearby town as the manager had a meeting there.. I opted for an en suite room with fan and air con although I only needed the fan as it was not high Summer. The bed was extremely comfortable and although the shower was only Luke warm it was perfectly ok.. they don't do meals in the evening but plenty of places to dine although these tend to be beer station type places.. WiFi was as good as I think it gets.. never lost connection.. thoroughly recommended..

A really welcome oasis after a long train journey from Yangon! We arrived with no booking, and were shown to a decent double room with AC, cost 20,000. A couple of things were wrong with the room (light and shower) but they fixed it straight away. They were very accommodating for us needing to get the train at 7am next day, booking a horse and carriage to the station, packing a breakfast (4000 each), and even coming to the station with us, purchasing the tickets and showing us the right platform. Highly recommended!

Wonderful is a filthy Guesthouse. The walls are grimy with stains on the walls. My room was smelly and musty. The painted green walls never washed down or cleaned. The bed covers were well used, and looked like someone had just crawled out of them. The bathroom drain hole had four air fresheners in it, but you could still smell raw sewage.
When I complained to the owner he said " This is a guesthouse not a Hotel".
I Moved next door to The Moonlight guesthouse. They have new addition to the old building. Staffs were absolutely amazing and super helpful. The place is safe and clean. It is quiet and peaceful for anyone who needs a place to rest well. The food is also very outstanding.response / report this review -

Thazi is one of the important places for us to travel inside Myanmar. Thazi has few nice Guest Houses, and this is one of them. Comfortable stay and cheap

Freundliche Leute und vor allem ein für hiesige Verhältnisse sehr gutes Zimmer (C) mit ordentlicher Toilette und Klimaanlage und Ventilator. Kann man für eine Nacht empfehlen.
