My first temple in Bagan

Very impressive frescoes! Unlike many other frescoes in Bagan, the colors are not completely faded. This gives an impression of how they may have looked in their heyday. If the temple is locked, just signal the nearest local - a key and a flashlight will be provided, a tip for this service was politely rejected.

Highly Recommended - for sunrise or sunset. There's a lovely guy who's the temple keeper and it's not well known and you will likely have the place to yourselves. Loved it.

Very nice personal tour from local resident. Not crowded and very interesting art work. He unlocked the temples to show us. Wouldn't accept a tip so of course felt compelled to buy a painting from him.

Nice views from this temple over the plains of Bagan and a bit less crowded than some of the main tourist temples.
