We spent 3 data's in Hpa An and ate here every day. The food is delicious, the service charming and the overall experience is most definitely to be recommended (as are the Kachin Rice Wine Mojitos!).
Confortable ambience, great mission and a friendly welcoming staff
This place is a hidden gem! Local and fresh delicious food, great coffee from Myanmar, friendly staff and a relaxing and open minded atmosphere. On top of that, the place is community owned and they support education and training for young people from the area and advocate sustainability.
Fantastic initiative with truly beautiful food and drinks. Highly recommend as the first port of call for a delicious meal when visiting Hpa-An. Top notch.
Nice spot, good salads. Bit out of the way though. Community based project.
Great place. Great project. Great people!
This place a lot of interesting thing like swimming pool , cave and mountain
This is the local youth community cafe. % of your expense will donate to local youth development. Coffee and drinks are good there. You can also have lite meals which more like European styles. Best traditional decoration ever in Town.
Good Services and nice place at Hpa-an. We will meet sometime there.
Very nice place, quiet, garden are great. Food and juce are very good.
Went with a large group after reserving a table. Food arrive little by little; overall took a long time. Orders were mixed up and a few of us had to adapt to their mix-up. The place is located in a relatively secluded part of town, 10 minutes walk from Soe Brothers 2 Guesthouse. On the other hand, food was quite good, very tasty. Menu has a decent variety of foods but main courses are mainly based on noodles or rice. Very friendly staff. Recommended to go, not in a large group.
Service was a bit slow and also forgot to prepare one dish we ordered.
Juices had too much pulp in them.
In general it was a very relaxing place and the staff was always friendly. Prices were reasonable.
Nice food, fair prices, and great smoothies.
The only reason they lost any points were:
1. For a place advocating against plastic waste they served each drink with a plastic straw. Get Rid of the Straws!
2. The service was a bit slow and disjointed. We waited and then had to ask for menus. Then only 1 menu came.
3. Would like to see a jug of drinking water served to the tables, or a top up when empty.
4. Carrot juice should be strained (at least partially), they noticed the error and removed it from the bill which we appreciated.
It's a very quiet and nice place in where you can spend some time to relax and get out of the noise. They have a very good menu selection, with milkshakes, smoothies, yoghurts, coffee, pancakes, toasts, rice, noodles It's more expensive that normal local places but it's worth it for the place and good quality of the food.
