It gets some bad press because it was admittedly built as a replica of the Shwedagon (which CAN'T be replicated), but because it isn't surrounded by many, tiny stupas, you can really appreciate the size of it. Other "pluses" are that the area is never crowded, and you can go inside to Pagoda and get a different viewpoint of its size.

This Pagoda is just stunning. Only a meter smaller than the famous Shwedagon pagoda in Yangon, but almost no tourists, just locals. A must see if you come to the capital!

Pretty cool pagota. Inside accessible. Free entrance. Nice views from the structure base. Merely anybody there during my visit which is nice.

Uppatasanti Pagoda .. is a prominent landmark in Naypyidaw, the new capital of Burma .. The pagoda houses a Buddha tooth relic from China .. It is nearly a same-sized replica of Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon and stands 99 metres (325 ft) tall 、。。

There are many artistic creations in this temple. At night, you can see the over view of Naypyitaw brightening. There is a elevator to reach the pagoda floor at southeast corner.
