A nice place to chill after visiting Mingun Bell. It is located beside Ayeyarwaddy River so you can enjoy the scenery too. The place is not crowded and mostly visited by foreigners as I've seen, may be because it's a bit expensive.

Great place hidden inside small garden close to the river. Professional english speaking staff. I was testing their brand new menu there. So delicious. Highly recommended.

Follow the signs from the main road, and you will end up in this little paradise. French owner, who makes the best thick cut chips and delicious home made bread. Purely awesome.

One of the best food experiences in Myanmar to date. The restaurante should actually be called "The Secret Garden". It is somehow hidden from the main street and as per name features a large sitting area outdoors (only) overlooking the river. It is surrounded by trees so you will have shade any time of the day.
Had the chicken skewers, samosas, vegetable tempura and amazing fresh fruit juices. Finished with the signature café and can say everything was perfect (would only have skipped the vegetables tempura as it ended up being too big and I took it mainly as curiosity).

Amazing Oasis in Mingun! Great staff, delicious food, beautiful place, best toilets in the country A pity I had to catch back my boat and couldn't spend a couple of hours here!
