  Hassle free airport where security is just a word, and not an actual practice. One small place for coffee, one small kiosk for other drinks, and one small kiosk for random expensive souvenirs. No more than a 15 minute drive to/from anywhere you'd be staying.

  An efficient airport.
  
  For arrival, tourist had to register with the immigration here. If you had not arrange pickup, it's a bit pricey and time consuming to negotiate with the taxi driver.
  
  For departure, there was no computer at the airline check-in counter. They gave us broading passes once they saw our names were on the list. There was air con in the boarding area after security check. Go upstairs to the roof top and there was a good view of the airport.

  Let's start with the pros, because the cons are a bit longer.
  Pros, they pretty much let you take food without in the airplane or as luggage. The airport is really small, but they try to keep the space open since it can get really hot inside.
  
  Now with cons. Since it is so HUMID you are going to be hot inside. You can't go wait outside once you have been admitted in. So don't wait for your flight on the first floor unless you can handle it. I would go to the second floor where they keep the windows and doors open so that you can feel the breeze hit your face. You can also take pictures because you get great views of the clear blue ocean. Also it gets really hot inside because they have to A/C and no fans, so that's why I would recommend going to the second floor.
  There is nothing to entertain you while you are waiting, no TVs, no radio, not many shops. If you have service you are lucky. So bring something to entertain yourself.
  
  Also, flights are not on time. They arrive when they arrive, it might be late from 30 minutes or even to an hour. Which is torture because the airport is so hot. Luckily once inside the plane it is at a comfortable temperature. Hopefully you don't have to spend a lot of time here and just have fun in Ngapali and any other location.

  Slightly scary - approach at wave top hight and runway ends in a cliff face !!
  
  Tiny place but a nice coffee and snack shop and as there are only about 40 passengers on any flight there are no delays
