It might be a popular Thai restaurant before but the waiters are poorly trained according to my experience. The taste is just average.

Serves a wide variety of Thai food.Their signature dish is GRILLED PORK NECK which is also the cheapest dish in town only 1500MMK(about1.1$).Recommended.As for drinks , they serve thai style milk tea.And also some thai infused cocktail.Worth a visit for thai food lover.

Thai Box offered us indeed a little taste of Bangkok while out in San Chaung. The food went down a treat but, for some reason, as soon as us foreigners entered it was like the staff went into malfunction. Staff are nice but they were very sloppy at service probably because they don't get much foreign customers and were nervous which is understandable.
I had red curry and chicken Thai rice, they were certainly tasty! Outside Thai Box they serve ice-cream for MKM 1,000 (about $0.80) each and I was told by the staff that they baked the ice cream cones themselves. The 3 flavours on offer were 1) milk (i.e. vanilla), 2) strawberry and 3) a mix of the two.
The interior was nice but quite industrial (too white and open plan and very little colours on the walls.
I really had a great time but I feel some improvements need to be made to bring it into the realm of 4-Star.
1) Have a chopstick/fork dispenser on every table,
2) When serving water make sure that the glasses are not wet, just for basic hygiene purposes,
3) redundant staff should not mill around in great numbers but should be available when needed,
4) serve the curry and the rice together and not just the rice first and then the curry 10 minutes later, and;
5) the ice cream vendor should be wearing gloves.response / report this review -

Price is reasonable. But the food is not that delicious and I didn't get the feeling of tasting the real thai food. So for the food is just Ok. Location and decorations are pretty good and thai tea is tasty and price is cheap.
