  Friendly management, reception and staff. Basic facilities, overpriced for foreign guests, as is the case in Myanmar. I paid 25$ for a basic room, which would cost 5$ in Thailand.

  Friendly and helpful staff but the hotel itself unfortunately not up to the same standard.
  
  Our room had water leaking continuously from the bathroom on the floor above, so the room had a damp smell. There was no hot water, or even a hot tap in the shower. Unlike the neighbouring hotels, this one only had power after 6pm so take a torch to use the bathroom if you need to close the door for privacy.
  
  The hotel advertises free wifi but doesn't have any wifi service.
  
  We were reassured we would be moved to a dry room with hot water on our third day but when we were moved, the new room did not have hot water either (until after 6pm). We had been 3 days without a shower at this point so we changed hotels.
  
  The restaurant is good and the food is quick, though it's a little expensive. You can dine at the fancy beach resorts for cheaper and get sea views while you eat.
  
  I would like to be able to recommend this hotel because the staff were helpful but our experience was not good. There are much superior inexpensive options nearby, including the excellent Hotel Ayeyawady, where we also ended up eating most days.

  Electricity is available only in night. So, daytime it is rather hot.

  Clean and nice rooms, but the best of this place is the awsome restaurant with fresh and tasty sea food, anytimes directly from the fishermen if you are lucky.

  This hotel has rooms with reasonable price. The restaurant has the best food at Chaung Tha beach. Also the sea food is very cheap and delicious.
