Very nice relatively new business hotel. Reasonable room rate. Some rooms don't have a shower cubicle or any racks to hang your towels, most however do. Beds very comfortable. Request a room with number higher than 113 or 213 etc. towards the front of the hotel as the housekeeping staff can be a bit noisy and you can hear them if your room is located near the stairs towards the housekeeping area, especially if you're on the first floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is reasonable, could have some more variety though. The pool and gym are great. Helps if you have your own transport, such as a car with driver as this hotel is a bit isolated from anywhere otherwise.

Nice breakfast.
And outside people can enjoy breakfast with prepaid card system at food court. It's so cool and fair price, not expensive.

Fine hotel, but a little pricey and not in a great location. It is difficult to get anywhere without transportation, not many tuk tuks or taxis in town, and nothing of note nearby. More oriented to business travelers so it felt a bit stiff and proper as someone on vacation. Cycle tourists: staff did not want us to take our bicycles anywhere inside, but finally we convinced them to let us put them in the locked luggage storage closet, much safer than outside in front where they wanted. Pool looked nice but we didn't try it, spa prices were high compared to Thailand (about $40 US for a Thai massage), so we didn't get one. Upstairs bar and dining area were great with a nice view of the ridge-top stupas, excellent service, and good food. Breakfast was really nice with a mix of Burmese, Chinese, Thai, and some Western disges, and fresh-brewed coffee.

They really made us feel comfortable at the hotel. Very nice pool area and the included breakfast took us by a nice surprise. At the price we would very much recommend it to others. Very nice high class hotel experience.

New luxury hotel with elegant high class furniture. Good service and warmly welcome to all guests. Also suitable for all functions. Have Bar, High Class Restaurant, Gym, Beauty Spa and Swimming Pool for guests.

Good New Hotel. The hotel Facilities is very good. Very quite Environment. Good internet speed. But the House Keeping is very bad service. They never change the Towels and the bath accessories within 2 days. Maintain the service and hope to stay again in next trip.

The rooms are clean and nice. I gave three stars because my wedding was held in this hotel's ballroom and the services weren't that good. If you are a traveler and wanna stay there overnight, I would recommend it. But it's quite far away from the downtown area.

This is where Royal Hinthar is actually located, not at the other property on the map.
A nice and relatively luxurious hotel with a great pool, gyn and dining facilities. We arrived off a 6:30am night train and were shown to our room straight away. We spent our entire day relaxing at the pool and hotel and the friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed.
The buffet breakfast was easily the best we had in two weeks in Myanmar with plenty of gluten free options. The other food from the restaurant was also enjoyable - try the beef boueguignon.
The hotel is located about 2kms from the city but a motorbike taxi only costs 1000ks per person one way.
Our only complaint was the hotel didn't take credit card and if you plan to have some food and drinks while you're there things can add up!response / report this review -

Newly opened. One of the luxurious hotels in Mawlamyine. Located on the ASEAN Highway (AH112) therefore access is very easy.
