A more welcoming atmosphere than the Indian opposite but they're really taking advantage of tourists here with the prices. Had very little to eat, and of mediocre quality, and paid more than the amazing mindalabar restaurant the night before. Should have gone back there.
Didn't eat here but they book boat / ferry trips from Mandalay to Bagan. 37 USD. Also rent bikes etc.
- No thai Food
- Vegetable Curry is like vegetable soup with allmost no taste
Haven't eaten there but they offer bicycles rental, which isn't an easy thing to find in the city. The owner was really kind and keen to help you out.
Good food of whatever ethnic style it was. Very special things you normally do not see on the menu. Also very good fruit juices.
I am not a very big fan of Thai food, but I have been told (by more than one person) that if you want to taste authentic (and good) Thai food in Mandalay, Rainforest Restaurant is the place to be.
Decent indian food.
Tasty music and good decoration. Good Thai food. Also the pancake are delicious!
Great Thai food and generous portions. We had the mango and green tomato salads which were great and a ginger lemon honey drink which was very refreshing. For takes a bit long to come but it's well worth the wait.
A little expensive, but the pad Thai was very good and the lassi drinks were nice! I would have rated this restaurant four stars, but my vegetable pad thai came with a bit of chicken in it so I wouldn't recommend it to dedicated vegetarians.
You can rent bikes here, but the owners are not the friendliest and bike as not great quality. Make sure you check that you breaks, gears and wheels are in working order.
Peaceful place, nice decoration , dedicated to the tourists and thus expensive, but good.
