ACCORDING TO THE WALL PAINTING HISTORY .At mahasakarit 123 this Buddha image has being cast by the King of Danyawady Rakhine SANDATHURIRA.
U Shwe Pwint Head man of Zalun town,asked for the Queen of Bagan to let him carry the image which was worshiped and placed to Zalun.
In sakarit 1217 the English Captain brought the image to India in a ship named SHWE CHAIN .Image was placed at a warehouse in Bombay and intended to cast and make ammunition and cannons.
The queen of Victoria ordered her men to send the image back to it’s native country Myanmar in her short visit in India.
At present the image renamed MAN AUNGMYIN PYIDAWPYAN and moved from the U Thine’s cave and lied on the PHOPONNA hillock.
