Food good but a bit on the high side compared to other restaurants serving same kind of food. Drinks are price higher as well.
Delicious Burmese authentic food. Nice atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. On the dark side, waiting time is long and price is expensive.
It`s a very nice Myanmar Traditional Restaurant in Yangon. The owner and waiters are very friendly and the foods are delicious! For some tourist groups, there have a large hall and beautiful garden. And it has many private rooms for VIP.
Nice restaurant with tasty Burmese dishes and lots of choices. It’s a nice place but it is also quite famous, making it a favorite stopover for touring cars, making it a bit western atmosphere and raising the overall age a bit. Still really enjoyed eating outside here.
Good food traditional Myanmar dishes or Thai set menus. Book the table in advance so you get outside dining instead of the barn next to the house.
For foreigners who are looking for a nice Burmese restaurant this is a place I recommend. It houses gatherings and family as well. For food taste wise, I can say healthy and delicious dishes with less oil in which some Burmese dishes are known for too much oil.
It's atmosphere and dishes were really good. Price was reasonable. Definitely I will take my friends.
Burmese and Thai food with reasonable price and good location
Decent place to try Burmese food. They make lots of options in vegetarian. Staff is prompt. But mosquitoes is an issue. But then it's an issue in general in Myanmar.
nice place also have arrangement to dine ouside with lots of trees
Good Myanmar traditipnal restaurant. The foods were modified to westerners likes.
The place looks lovely but unfortunately, the food was terrible. The "fresh" fruit has a really odd taste to it (we ordered 2 servings, one tasted normal and the other one had the odd taste that was also found in some other dishes). We were 2 people who are different things from the very extensive menu and we both became sick afterwards. This wasn't our first food experience in Myanmar, so it wasn't like our bodies weren't used to the food. The menu is very big though and you'll likely find something you'll enjoy.
Am a fussy eater but new management has changed the services and food. Great food. Cooked with genuine products and less oil to avoid bloated feeling. Tried coconut rice with tea-leaves chicken curry with green leaves salad. It was so delicious. This restaurant is the main food provider, contractor from near by Parliament office. So it's gotta be good.
Food quality and taste is not very good. A bit dull and served warm, not hot.
Good food, good staff, some famous persons used to be there
Delicious food!!! Moderate prices!! But beware of mosquitos, repellant is a must when sitting in the lovely garden!
One of my favorite dining in Yangon. I always try local food, although the restaurant serves Thai food.
Perhaps our own fault, after a very hot Yangon day we opted to sit inside in the air conditioning. We were taken to a table in an alcove off the bar where staff were watching football on a large television. The volume was high and no effort was made to turn it down because diners had arrived.
Menus were presented and drink orders taken promptly and we ordered a plate of tempura vegetables to share as a starter. All the above arrived quickly and we ordered a couple of mains to share also. The tempura was not tempura but heavily battered pieces of vegetable that certainly had less vegetable than batter and not enjoyable at all. The curry was OK, nothing to complain about but nothing to get excited about either, but it was the lack of cool air that was a problem and when we enquired about turning up that air conditioner (which we were seated directly under and could not feel) we were told no - not sure if there was a language problem here!
We were getting hotter and finally decided to leave the rest of the meal and take our drinks to finish in the garden which was decidedly cooler than indoors. It was a quiet evening with few other diners there and lots of staff that constantly 'hovered' closely watching every bite we took which I found annoying also. All up not a memorable meal or evening.
