One of the best place I've ever been. Large and new room, very well furnished. A huge bathroom with a lovely central bath tub. Nespresso machine with free coffe. A cozy and very comfortable bed. The hotel has 2 restaurants, both quite good. The breakfast is reach for all tastes. I strongly recommend it!

This is a beautiful hotel with good views of the lake from the deluxe and junior suites with an upgrade, but it is showing some signs of wear. Even though we were wrongly billed and there were some service lapses, staff were lovely in general. What didn't sit well with me is that they cut back on the very basic things such as water, beverages and (gasp!) toothbrushes. When I left my review on Facebook, their reply implied that I was staying in a cheaper room and that these were only provided for Villas and Presidential suites. What were we staying in? A 4 star hotel or a budget motel? VERY DISAPPOINTING.

    Wonderful property.
My husband and I spent a short weekend in Inle, and we choose the right thing to go to Inle. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The food is fantastic and they offer a nice mix of Asian and Western variety. The staff including the manager go all the way to please the guests. It is rare to see that even higher management entertains children. Talking about passion for the job, well done.
The only thing that shocked us is the way some foreigners treat the staff that English couple was so rude! Even in the end the Manager was called in. He was very apologetic, but still got bad words to him. Great job sir, you stay calm! You all do a very good job and I will recommend the hotel very warmly.
We stayed from February 9 till February 11, but will be back for the waterfestival.
    See you then. Dee

Amazing rooms, serene location and attentive staff. But Mediocre food for the price, far from the airport, average spa services and limited activities

    Parfait!
On December 8, I stayed in Mayanmar for almost 2 weeks. My last stay was in Novotel Inle. That was the best of the accommodations I had in Myanmar. The hotel is fully equipped. 2 restaurants, Pool, Spa, Fitness, recreation room Staff are very warm and helpfull. The new resident manager Mr. Seven I was told, was there all times, early in the morning till late at night. He kept an eye on all operations and was simply hands on. Great room, very specious and good restaurants. Next time I come back, I will start in Novotel, the best choice you can make! Thank you team, and see you next year. JL.

Had a great time. Amazing place for exploring the lake (hired a boat for two) and explored the countryside on bikes. Quality accommodation, good food, and excellent happy hour at The Sunset Bar.

Amazing stay ! The staff is really nice and the only thing they care about is you having the best moments of your life. The rooms are wonderful and very quiet. The great thing about that resort is that it is actually very quiet which is relaxing after à day spent on the lake (lots of boats ). The staff will arange your day trips based on your aspirations and give you good advice. De also loved the breakfast that was a sweet combination of asian and western dishes. Would definitely recommend the Novotel for your stay!

Best customer service. A good place to take a rest and enjoy nature. One pitfall is mosquito but the hotel provides enough mosquito sprey.

Great place on the lake. I really enjoyed it. The upgrade to the villa was welcome but made me realize that I would never book a villa that overlooks other villas! What's the point? Room service menu looked limited and overpriced, without any local wines! There's a local wineyard 15 minutes away, why not stock up? At breakfast, the place could use some more Shan State honey, rather than waiting to get 2 tablespoons. The home made yoghurt is a good effort but please make it right. It is sour watery milk. The hostesses Su and company were superb and arrange a boat tour with other guests. Great value and comfort since they pick you up from the hotel on the boat. Finally, please get more TV channels. Hard to believe you have no access to CNN or BBC.

Really beautiful resort. The bungalows are superb. The restaurant sells high quality european food at european prices. Staff as almost everywhere in Myanmar super friendly. Great sunset view from the pool. Situated on the east shore of the lake.

Frankly speaking, although I understand it's not affordable to all, our stay at the Novotel Inle Lake Hotel was one of our success moments of our trip for several reasons:
    - nearby town, Nyaung Shwe, has NOTHING to do or see when compared to the rest of the country, but is recommended for travel information and lunch/dinner options if you want other options besides the hotel. So if you can avoid staying there, please do.
    - Lake hotels, whether inside the Lake or nearby, bring you a perfect experience of sightseeing and peace AND perfect sunsets! You don't see trickshaws or cars or hear honking all the time.
    - Inle Lake staff is friendly (although a greater effort is needed to have them speak better English - this is a problem everywhere in Myanmar though), rooms are very comfortable and clean, food is good, the pool is a blessing to rest and sun tan in a hectic traveling schedule, and the Novotel has probably the BEST SPOT FOR SUNSET on the Lake (and I can prove it!).

Seriously, consider staying outside of town to really experience what the Lake can bring to you!

Stayed here on NYE. Rooms and view were outstanding! The boat tour we organised at the front desk was great and it was a beautiful place to see the sunset. Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience overall.

We were forced to spend $99USD each on the evenings festivities or eat room service. We were ill so a a banquet menu was out of the question. Service not up to the standard expected from a Novotel.

Our hotel bill had charges on it from the gift shop that required investigation and the receipt did not our signature on it.

If I had the option again I would probably look at booking somewhere else.

Excellent resort, although not much around within walking distance. Rooms are large and comfortable, and dining options are good at the hotel. Friendly staff and tours available of Inle Lake and nearby villages. Great value.

This was my Christmas getaway. And it was so pleasant. The staff is so friendly. When we came to the room after swimming in the pool we had a Christmas gift on our bed. And when we came down to breakfast they had more presents for us. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. The beds are comfortable. The views are gorgeous. The bathrooms are perfect. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of food to choose from. I would highly recommend a stay here.
