What a great place. This street food stand is always busy, but the boys who run it (yes, they're actually boys - I'd say about 12 years old max) are so efficient that you never have to wait more than a minute or two for anything. I requested vegetarian, simply because I wasn't in the mood for meat, and with one of the boys' help, ordered several dishes, one of which wasn't even on the menu. It all tasted so good. Freshly cooked, quickly served, and super cheap - a meal for two with drinks came to MMK 3700 (about $2.70, €2.50, £2.20 at today's rates). We even had a nice chat with the people on the next table, who live in Mandalay, but are frequent visitors to this place.
Definitely recommend.
Really nice milk tea and very good price of the food, which was Yummy!
Nice meal with reasonable price
Very reasonable prices. You can order tea or coffee and mutton curry, beef curry, coconut rice, chicken barayani and etc. That shop opened till 1am. The best menu is mutton soup. That restaurant is halal restaurants. Very clean and confortable.
I had a fantastic snack, I passed by this shop in the afternoon and was enthralled. They have chapatis ( they call it chapati , it looks more like naan) and curry. To eat you break a piece of chapati, put some curry on it, then a spoonful of dal, a small spoonful of spicy sauce and eat. The kids there showed to me how to do it properly.
Apparently is terribly busy in the evening.
Absolutely fantastic! The place is wild and buzzing with people! Staff is quick and super friendly - they know just enough English to get everything right. And the food oh my! We had the chapati and beef curry and it was absolutely amazing. Chapati is freshly made on a table in the middle of the sidewalk. It was probably the best food we‘ve had while in Myanmar. A delicious dinner and a great place to experience!
Could this possibly be the only good thing in Mandalay? The quality to price is great. 1800 for a takeaway dinner for two is hard to beat.
The food was fantastic, even better than in India, we tried chicken and beef curry and naan and was very happy! Really best food in Myanmar! Highly recommend!!

Tried the chapati, Bryan and Fried beef and wasn't disappointed. The food came quickly and was quite tasty, served with done sides of spicy vegetables and soups/sauces. This is a truly local place where you eat outside next to the street in low tables. If you're an adventurous folk after a truly local street food cuisine, simple and tasty, this is a must try.
Truly delicious. The mutton and beef curries + the chipatis were probably the best food we ate in Myanmar and we ate multiple times per day so you know it was good.
And there are veggie options!
