A unique wooden made old monastery surrounded by a small village with huts. The atmosphere will help you travel in time a few centuries back. Lots of great wood carving work. Quiet.

Lovely temple made of wood. There weren't any foreigners when I visited, but there were a couple of locals who were visiting. Also do take the steps down to the river to the Road to Mandalay jetty. The views are splendid!

A small teak monastery with beautiful wooden carvings in a local township.
Almost no foreign visitors.
Really worth the stop if you like to get close up to the wooden carvings.

All wood temple. Very cool and intricate carvings all along the roofs of the temple. Inside wood planks are uneven and not level, very rustic feel to the whole place!
